Sway in a hammock chair on the balcony facing the pool with hardwood floors and freshly laid wall tiles. Keep the sliding glass door open and create an indoor-outdoor space. Neutral decor lends a relaxing atmosphere, while a good size kitchen is great for making meals.
This condo is walking distance to some of the best surfing spots in the world—Zippers, The Rock, and Old Man's beach. Or walk to the downtown area of San José del Cabo. Drive 25 minutes to reach the City of Cabo San Lucas.
Directions:
FROM LOS CABOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO LA JOLLA CONDOS
Enter the main road (Hwy 1) towards Cabo San Lucas. This will put you on the Toll Road which costs about 40 pesos or $2-3.00 USD. Exiting the airport you will be making a left. It is about 10 miles to reach the toll station. (If you follow the sign to San Jose del Cabo it will take you through town with lots of lights and traffic.) Once you are on the toll road then you will follow the signs towards San Jose del Cabo.
Shortly after paying at the toll station, you will enter a traffic roundabout. Take the first right exit out of the roundabout towards Cabo San Lucas. You will now be parallel to the Sea of Cortez. Start to look for the La Jolla sign on a rock wall on the right. The La Jolla sign is immediately after the Privadas exit. Along the way you will notice small, vertical Km. markers on the right side of the road. La Jolla is at Km 29.
Exit to the right and be prepared to veer to the left to go under the highway. There will be a manned gate. Let them know you are a guest in the La Jolla complex
Turn into the first right parking area/ to the right of the The Krystal Grand lobby (large palapa type roof). Park any where there is a space. My AB403 condo building entrance is the second condo entrance from the Krystal Grand lobby. It is the only entrance with an elevator. If you have a RENTAL CAR, use the provided Guest parking pass (In the Condo on the kitchen table) and place it in the vehicle while parked so the security guards can plainly see it. When you are leaving the Condo please remember to leave the Guest Parking Pass back on the kitchen table($20 charge for reissuing the pass if not left)

LA JOLLA TO CABO SAN LUCAS
Exit the parking lot to the left and go under the highway. Take the 1st left which looks like a steep downhill private driveway. The ramp will put you on the highway to Cabo.

CABO SAN LUCAS TO LA JOLLA
Take Hwy 1 toward San Jose del Cabo (approx 25 minutes). After a BIG sweeping curve and a parking/vista area on the right the road descends into San Jose. La Jolla is right after Mykonos, a large white high rise condo complex. The exit/driveway to La Jolla comes up quick, so begin to slow after Mykonos. Exit to the right and bear right to go to Bldg./Unit AB403.

AIRPORT AND TRANSPORTATION;
You can arrange to rent a car prior to arriving in Cabo. There are free car rental shuttle services that take you to the rental car companies. There is a Thrifty Car Rental at the Krystal Grand Hotel MAIN Lobby off of the Highway to the left from La Jolla if you are interested in renting a car.
If you are not renting a car there are a couple of options. From the airport, you can take any taxi to La Jolla. You would want to be dropped off at the La Jolla building, next to the Krystal Grand Hotel palapa (not the main lobby entrance)
Public buses run along the corridor and into town. There is a bus stop right on the highway, but you can also flag a bus down.
Groceries:
Oxxo Conveneint Store is located right by the highway. When exiting the condo go to the right, past the Palapa/lobby of Krystal Hotel-walk up the driveway towards the highyway. When you reach the highway walk to your right and Oxxo will be right there.
“La Comer” is about 1 mile back toward the airport on the right side of the highway. It is similar to WalMart (food, clothing, electronics, etc.).
Chedruia is the large grocery/all inclusive store on the other side of the round about. There is also a food court area with multiple options to grab lunch or dinner.
“Pemex” is the only gas station chain. They are located at various places around town.

Beds and bedding: There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, as well as a pull out queen in the living room sofa. Pillows, blankets, linens, and comforters are provided and found in the bedroom closets and drawers.
Kitchen:All necessary pots, pans, dishes/utensils, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc.
Water: There is a separate water faucet by the sink that has filtered water to drink and rinse fruit etc. It is a 7 chamber Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System.
The tap water has been treated, but I do not use it for drinking, only cooking, showering, dishes, and even brushing my teeth. I have never had a problem.
Audio/Video: There are 2 TVs (one large flat screen in the living room and a smaller TV in the bedroom) with Netflix
Hair Dryer Under the bathroom sink
Sheets, pillows, and blankets: Extras are stored in the cabinets in the bedroom
Towels: (including beach towels) are stored in the hall closet and bedroom cabinets. Our pool is the pool visible from the balcony. Take the elevator to S Level-walk through the hall and up the stairs. Wet towels are not allowed to be draped over the deck, so just drape them on drying rack(in the kitchen closet) and/or the deck chairs.
Surfboards can be rented within walking distance at Zippers.
There is no land phone in the condo, so I suggest you look into activating your international calling option with your cell phone. Your cell phone provider should be able to give you the specifics on the cost.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE CONDO:
Make sure you place the Guest Parking Pass in your car
It may seem very warm at first. Open the kitchen window and bathroom window if you wish. Open the drapes and sliding door.
The ceiling fans in each room are controlled by wall switches. They should already be set on high, but the speed can be adjusted by the hanging chains. The bedroom and living room air conditioners are controlled by their own remotes, found in each room. Simply press the bottom button and it will turn on. The temperature should be set to around 22 C. Hopefully, you’ll be cooled by the ocean breezes and won’t need the air conditioners. When you leave the condo please turn off the A/C
I suggest walking east down the beach to Mama Mia’s for lunch/dinner/or a drink, and by the time you get back…it has cooled down.
WHILE IN CABO:
WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE:
These are the restaurants within walking distance along the beach from our condo:
Mama Mia's – walk along the beach to the left (north/east), at Coral Baja resort. It’s a great place to go on your first night of arrival. Entertainment on some nights. Can also be reached by walking up to the highway and taking a right.
Zippers – lunch and dinner. Right on the beach heading to the right (south/west), entertainment occasionally
Domino’s Pizza– Within walking distance on our side of the highway, heading towards town.Walk up to the highway and take a right.
A great restaurant that is close- but better reached by car or taxi:
Cabo Surf/7 Seas - A long walk during the day during low tide, since it’s located around the point from Zipper's - Great for lunch or sunset dining. You might want to drive there instead.
IN THE TOWN OF SAN JOSE DEL CABO: this little colonial town should be explored. It has some great restaurants, jewelry stores, and artists’ studios. It is a very unique and special town situated along an estuary. Don't miss the ArtWalk in downtown, every Thursday in November - June.
La Lupita
Casa Calvera
Flora Farm - Just past the marina on your way to Laguna Hills. A very unique experience. Restaurant and organic farm open to the public.
La Dolce- well established Italiana
If you are looking for a DayParty/Club experience- check out OMNIA Day Club in the Grand Mayan at Vidanta Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo
A good website to visit before or during your stay is www.loscabosguide.com and a new website with interesting discounts is www.loscabospassport.com
AND OF COURSE, CABO SAN LUCAS: Many of the resorts have their own restaurants, and then there is the marina, lined with restaurants and bars. The marina is beautiful (no longer a quaint fishing village) and Medano Beach is still a big attraction, as well as the bar scene and night action in town. I love to watch the sunset at the Mona Lisa restaurant or at their upstairs Wine and Pizza Bar, same location (across the highway from Home Depot), on the point.
I do suggest that if you should travel to TODOS SNATOS, eat at The Hotel California or La Esquina (off the beaten path). I have also stopped at a surf resort just south of Todos Santos called Rancho Pescadero. You must drive through fields of organic farmland before arriving at the resort. The beach is great to walk along, and the sunsets can be incredible.
EAST CAPE – a great all day excursion along the east cape road from the Laguna Hills to Cabo Pulmo, then loop back to San Jose by connecting to Highway 1 from La Rivera.
WHEN YOUR STAY IS OVER:
Please close and lock all windows and sliding glass door. As you walk out the door, check to see that the lights, air conditioners, and fans have been turned off. I would REALLY appreciate this. And please lock the door as well.
